Today, we embark on a long but exciting journey from Islamabad to Chitral. The drive will take us about 10 hours, but it’s a chance to see some interesting places along the way. We’ll pass through towns like Lower Dir and Upper Dir, where you’ll get a taste of the local culture and life.

The highlight of the day is crossing Lawari Pass, a high mountain road at 3118 meters. The views from here are simply breathtaking, and it’s a real adventure to drive through this pass.

Finally, we’ll arrive in Chitral, a peaceful and beautiful place. We’ll make sure you’re comfortable in your hotel so you can relax and prepare for more adventures in Chitral. Today is all about exploring and enjoying the journey, even though it’s a long drive.

Day 03, (20 August): Chitral – Bumburat (Kalash)

Today, we set out for the captivating Kalash Valley, embarking on a 3-hour drive that promises adventure and discovery. The journey to Kalash village takes us along a fascinating narrow jeep track, winding through some of the most intriguing landscapes.

Upon our arrival in Kalash, we will ensure your comfortable transfer to the hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to explore the valley’s enchanting surroundings and immerse yourself in the unique Uchal festival experience.

Swat Valley, often compared to the “Switzerland of Pakistan,” beckons with its unrivaled natural beauty, lush landscapes, and rich cultural heritage. Upon our arrival, we’ll ensure your seamless transfer to a comfortable hotel, where you can unwind and prepare for further exploration.

Next on our itinerary is the Pakistan Monument, an iconic symbol celebrating the unity and diversity of the nation. The intricately designed structure pays homage to Pakistan’s four provinces, and from its vantage point, you can enjoy panoramic views of Islamabad.
